Member Profile: Steve Aucoin

This month we are featuring one of the Monsters of Swing in our Houston scene, Steve Aucoin, aka as Big Steve. You've seen him around and usually spinning for you on Sunday night. You can also see him DJing at Te', Taft, and NiaMoves.

I've been playing music for about 4 or 5 years, I think it was Patty or Kristina that got me started; maybe someone didn’t show for a DJ shift. I like classic swing and adding new stuff to the list of songs. Sometimes it's difficult finding new stuff. Consequently, I'll play new music that has "the beat" but does not really swing, but I come back around to classic swing.
